Bruno Guimaraes has hit back at Danny Murphy’s criticism after an impressive statistic was revealed about the Brazilian on the final day of the Premier League season.
The talkSPORT pundit previously claimed “he’s not a great athlete”, saying this would stop him from reaching the top, but Bruno’s shared the perfect response. He’s posted a stat on his Instagram story that revealed he’d covered the most ground (423km) in the Premier League this season, coupled with the sarcastic caption “he isn’t athletic.”
Bruno also posted a tweet of his own after his stunning display in Sunday’s 4-2 win over Brentford, saying: ‘Finished the season with a memorable match! 3 points, two assists, and 1 goal. Thank you for the support today and we hope it’s enough for us to be in Europe next season! Howay the lads.’
Bruno has been integral once again this season. At times, his quality, drive and sheer will to win has dragged the team along during what were some very difficult periods considering the fatigue and injuries suffered.
For him to not only finish with the most distance covered in the league but also 15 goal involvements from a deeper position in midfield just proves what a top player he is and makes a Mockery of Murphy’s claims.
😂 class response 👏🏼👏🏼

What’s the betting though that should Bruno, heaven forbid, join City, Arsenal or Murphy’s favourites Liverpool, he would suddenly become one of the world’s finest ever seen.
