Newcastle United look set to bank more TV money over the next two months with five of our next seven games now selected to be shown on Sky Sports or TNT Sports.
So far this season, three of our four opening games (all competitions) have been selected for television broadcast and that will rise to eight from a possible 11 by the end of October after our Carabao Cup clash with Wimbledon was chosen by Sky Sports for Tuesday 24th September (7.45pm kick-off).
See the full schedule below, where upcoming league games against Wolves (A), Man City (H), Everton (A) and Chelsea (A) will be shown on Sky or TNT:
- Sunday 15th September: Wolves v Newcastle – 4.30pm (Sky Sports)
- Saturday 21st September: Fulham v Newcastle – 3pm
- Tuesday 24th September: Wimbledon vs Newcastle – 7.45pm (Sky Sports)
- Saturday 28th September: Newcastle v Man City – 12.30pm (TNT Sports)
- Saturday 5th October: Everton v Newcastle – 5.30pm (Sky Sports)
- Saturday 19th October: Newcastle v Brighton – 3pm
- Sunday 27th October: Chelsea v Newcastle – 2pm (Sky Sports)
The selections for November will be announced next Friday (13th) and I wouldn’t be surprised if at least one of our games are chosen, especially our clash with Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, currently scheduled for Saturday 2nd November.
Totally misleading headline. Eight of the next eleven games are not on TV, as yet. It is five out of the next seven.

Has been edited now. Didn’t intend to mislead, was just making the point that 8 of our first 11 games will have been on TV.

What does that mean financially, and how does it compare to the first 11 games last year?
