It’s been a brilliant 12 months for Newcastle United talent Trevan Sanusi and it got even better today following a lovely goal for England’s U18s.
Starting alongside fellow Mag Leo Shahar and Sunderland midfielder Chris Rigg in the Young Lions’ 2pm clash with Switzerland, the 17-year-old showed his quick feet, agility and ball-striking with a superb right-footed strike after cutting in from theft. Watch the goal below:

This comes after a brilliant summer for the 17-year-old which saw him sign his first pro contract at the club before featuring regularly for the first team over pre-season.
He’s yet to be included in a first team squad so far this season, but he’s made an impressive start to the Premier League 2 campaign with our U21s, starring in our 1-1 draw at Sunderland before helping our young Mags win at Spurs last month.
Exciting times ahead for the tricky winger who will be pushing to become the Lewis Miley of this season after a brilliant few months in his youth career.
He can join Kuol, Minteh, Ashby and Harrison in our title wining side, can’t he? 😁
