After initially being a doubt for Saturday’s trip to Fulham due to an eye issue, it’s emerged that Alexander Isak now has another issue.
In his latest piece for The Mail, Craig Hope reports that the Swedish international has a toe injury that’s left him a doubt for this weekend’s game at Craven Cottage, while Callum Wilson (back) won’t return until October after taking time to recover from his latest knock.
Isak was forced off at half time in last Sunday’s 2-1 win at Wolves due to swelling around his eye. Hope reports that this issue has eased, but a toe problem has left Eddie Howe sweating on his availability once again.
There is some hope, however, as the story states that we’ll make a ‘late call’ on the striker and are keeping our fingers crossed that he may be able to manage the pain.
Shocked to hear Wilson still out NOT

Just play Joelinton up front(ex striker) play Willock in his place, leave the two wingers in place. Miggy and Murphy on the bench. Hwtl

Agree with Kiddafromthetoon. Even if Isak can play through the pain, I would start him out as a sub and put Joelinton up front. Willock LMF as you said — if winning by a few goals with 20 minutes left, I would rest Isak and put Osula on for Joelinton. Tonali to start, I hope and Sean L. to come on late to secure the lead. That is my hope anyway.
