Wor Flags have urged fans to bring their scarf to tonight’s Carabao Cup clash with Wimbledon at St James’ Park tonight.
The fan group issued a similar pre-match appeal before cup games against Southampton and Leicester, which helped create an incredible atmosphere and sea of black and white around all four corners of St James’ Park in the final rounds of the 2022/23 Carabao Cup campaign that ended in a trip to Wembley for Eddi e Howe’s Mags.
This time we face League Two opposition in Wimbledon after last week’s third round tie was postponed due to flooding. Since then, it’s been moved and the fourth round draw made, meaning we’ll face Chelsea at St James’ on Wednesday 30th October should we see off the Wombles tonight.
In a message to 120,000 followers on X last night, the supporter group also said: ‘Equally as important as your scarf, please make sure you have downloaded your ticket for tomorrow night’s match and check that it is in your phone’s wallet before you get to the stadium.’
Howay the lads!
