Tonali starts and Everton duo miss out – Teams news ahead of 5.30pm kick off

The team sheets are in at Goodison Park, where Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United take on Sean Dyche’s Everton in today’s 5.30pm kick-off.

Here are the official line ups, where the home side are without Jarrad Branthwaite and Vitaly Mykolenko; two defenders who started in their win over Palace last weekend.

Newcastle XI: Pope – Trippier, Schar, Burn, Hall – Tonali, Bruno, Joelinton – Murphy, Gordon, Barnes.

Everton XI: Pickford – Young, Tarkowski, Keane, Garner – Doucoure, Mangala – Harrison, Ndiaye, McNeil – Calvert-Lewin.

SUBS: Vlachodimos, Ruddy, Krafth, Osula, Livramento, Almiron, Kelly, Willock, Longstaff.

As you may have guessed, we’ve stuck by the same 11 who held Man City to a 1-1 draw last Saturday, with Lewis Hall, Kieran Trippier, Sandro Tonali and Jacob Murphy all keeping their place in the side.

Missing are Alexander Isak (toe), Martin Dubravka (bruised knee), Callum Wilson (back/hamstring), Lewis Miley (foot), Sven Botman (ACL) and Jamaal Lascelles (ACL).

For the hosts, Jarrad Branthwaite and Vitaly Mykolenko are absent after picking up training injuries in midweek, leaving Dyche with a patched up defence.

Howay the lads!
