The team sheets are in at St James’ Park, where Newcastle United host West Ham United in tonight’s 8pm kick-off live on Sky Sports.
Here’s how the two sides line up as we search for our fourth-straight in in all competitions:
Newcastle XI: Pope – Livramento, Schar, Kelly, Hall – Longstaff, Guimaraes, Willock – Gordon, Isak, Joelinton. SUBS: Dubravka, Trippier, Targett, Tonali, Barnes, Murphy, Almiron, Osula, Wilson.
West Ham XI: Fabianski – Wan-Bissaka, Todibo, Kilman, Emerson – Soler, Paquetá, Soucek – Bowen, Antonio, Summerville. SUBS: Areola, Cresswell, Coufal, Mavropanos, Guilherme, Rodríguez, Irving, Scarles, Ings.
Eddie Howe has made one change, seeing Lloyd Kelly start at centre-back as Dan Burn serves a one-game ban for his fifth yellow of the season in our 3-1 win over Nottingham Forest last time out.
Elsewhere, Sean Longstaff keeps his place in the side and Joelinton looks set to start out wide once again, keeping Sandro Tonali and Harvey Barnes on the bench; where Callum Wilson and Kieran Trippier both feature after returning from injuries over the international break.
It’s the first time all season Wilson has featured in a matchday squad and Trippier’s first game back for seven weeks after he limped off in our 0-0 draw at Everton last month. Lewis Miley does not make the squad, but it’s understood he has NOT suffered an injury.
For the Hammers, Lopetegui has brought Carlos Soler in for Guido Rodriguez in midfield, but Mohammed Kudus remains suspended and misses out once again along with Niclas Fulkrug and Edson Alvarez.
Paqueta and Bowen both fit and start, what a surprise!
