TEAM NEWS: Burn and Tonali start – Eze returns for Crystal Palace

The team sheets are in ahead of today’s 3pm kick-off at Selhurst Park, where Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United take on Oliver Glasner’s Crystal Palace. Here’s how the two sides line up:

Newcastle XI: Pope – Livramento, Schar, Burn, Hall – Tonali, Guimaraes, Willock – Gordon, Isak, Joelinton. SUBS: Dubravka, Kelly, Osula, Longstaff, Almiron, Wilson, Barnes, Murphy, Trippier.

Crystal Palace XI: Henderson – Chalobah, Lacroix, Guehi – Muñoz, Hughes, Lerma, Mitchell – Sarr, Eze – Mateta. SUBS: Turner, Ward, Clyne, Richards, Kporha, Schlupp, Doucouré, Devenny, Nketiah.

As expected, Dan Burn returns to the side at centre-back in place of Lloyd Kelly, with Howe also making a change in midfield as Sandro Tonali replaces Sean Longstaff.

For Palace, star man Ebere Eze is back in the side after missing their last three league games through injury. Adam Wharton misses out again, however.

A win would send us above Aston Villa and Spurs, who both play tomorrow, and it feels like a big opportunity to do so against a second bottom Crystal Palace side who’ve only managed three goals in their six home games so far this season.

Howay the lads!
