The team sheets are in at St James’ Park, where Newcastle United take on Manchester United in today’s 4.30pm kick-off.
It’s a big chance to boost our top five hopes and capitalise on results yesterday, with a win allowing us to leapfrog Man City and Aston Villa once again and move just one behind Nottingham Forest.
Here is how the two sides line up as we look to make it five wins in a row in all competitions:
Confirmed line-ups
Newcastle (4-3-3): Pope – Trippier, Schar, Burn, Livramento – Guimaraes, Tonali, Joelinton – Murphy, Isak, Barnes.
Subs: Dubravka, Gordon, Wilson, Targett, Krafth, Osula, Longstaff, Miley, Neave
Man Utd (3-4-3): Bayindir – Mazraoui, Lindelof, Yoro – Dalot, Ugarte, Eriksen, Amass – Fernandes, Garnacho, Zirkzee.
Alexander Isak leads the line in an unchanged XI once again, seeing Nick Pope continue in goal, Tino Livramento at left-back and Harvey Barnes down the left wing.
Anthony Gordon returns to the bench after missing the last four through either suspension or heavy bruising to his leg.
For Man Utd, goalkeeper Andre Onana has been left out the squad after two errors in their Thursday night draw at Lyon, meaning Altay Bayindir comes in to make his Premier League debut.
They’ve made five changes, with Bayindir, Lindelof, Eriksen, Zirkzee and Amass in for Onana, Maguire, Dorgu, Casemiro and Hojlund.
Howay the lads!
