SIX senior players set to play for NUFC U-23’s at St. James’ tonight in a surprisingly strong side

Newcastle United U-23’s take on Wolves in a Premier League 2 tie at St. James’ Park tonight and fans will get the chance to see SIX senior players on show, with Dwight Gayle, Rolando Aarons, Henri Saivet, Jack Colback, Freddie Woodman and Jamie Sterry all included in tonight’s squad.

The game is available to watch for FREE on NUFC TV and will be streamed LIVE tonight, with kick off at 7pm on nufc.co.uk. 

Dwight Gayle was handed 20 minutes at the Amex yesterday, but will be given game time for the second string tonight to bring him back up to speed, whilst Aarons, Saivet and Colback will also be offered a chance to impress after missing out on our recent matchday squads.

England U-21 goalkeeper Freddie Woodman will start in goal once again as he pushes for a first team spot, whilst Jamie Sterry will be handed the chance to catch Rafa’s eye at right-back.

As with every U-23’s game at St. James’, the East Stand will be open, offering free entry for season ticket holders and members, with admission being £3 for adults and £1 concessions for non season ticket holders/members.
