London Calling – Moussa To Palace

August 15, 2016August 15, 2016 Andy The Magpie

It’s been the summer transfer soap opera and as tedious as any Eastenders storyline. But according to the Daily Telegraph, Moussa Sissoko might finally leave St James Park.

Palace have sold Yannick Bolasie to Everton for an initial £25m and also Mile Jedinak to Aston Villa with speculation rife that they will reinvest those funds in the purchase of Sissoko.

If that doesn’t deflate his ego, nothing will. The only way Palace will get into Europe is via Thomas Cook.

And good luck to the Palace supporters. We’ve had this circus for a number of seasons, with Arsenal or whoever linked to the French international but nothing ever came of it. Not even when he begged Arsenal before Euro 2016 and then fluttered his eyelashes at Real Madrid.

Neither was fooled by him but the Eagles need to be aware of his antics. Pardew may succeed in getting him to perform but relegation will see a repeat of this summer. The Championship is beneath him. At long last, the swinging exit door looks like it’s going to smack him on the backside as he leave St James Park.
