- Long standing NUFC target Andre Gray has completed an out the blue £18.5m move to Watford, becoming their club record signing (Watford official)
- Benitez has admitted to having words with Arsene Wenger this week over the signing of Lucas Perez, but remained coy on any possible deal for the Spaniard (Talksport)
- New Galatasaray signing Badou N’diaye has admitted he turned down offers from Newcastle, Everton and West Ham this summer.
- A potential boost for NUFC as Fenerbahce – one of the sides heavily linked with Arsenal’s Lucas Perez – have agreed a deal to sign Villareal striker Roberto Soldado, suggesting they have decided to look elsewhere.
- Italian reports claim Birmingham leading the way for Torino midfield Afrique Acquah but state Newcastle are also interested in the £9m rated Ghanaian.
