Today’s round up of all NUFC related transfer talk:
- Newcastle United have agreed a deal with Chelsea to sign 21-year old Brazilian outcast Kenedy on a season-long loan deal (The Mirror)
- The deal for Kenedy – who can play at left-back or left midfield – will not include an option to buy for Newcastle however (Kirstan Heneage)
- Rafa Benitez has dropped a bombshell on NUFC’s Jack Colback, being set to axe the midfielder from his 25-man Premier League squad (Shields Gazette).

- Deportivo President Tino Fernandez has admitted NUFC target Lucas Perez is keen on joining his former side this summer, but admits the La Liga club may struggle to afford a deal to sign him.
- The Chronicle’s Lee Ryder has confirmed Newcastle are still in the mix for new strikers this summer and have a ‘couple of options’ in mind on loan deals.
- Alan Pardew has claimed he watched Alexandre Lacazette for ‘three or four years’ at Lyon and wanted to bring him to Newcastle but he was too expensive.
