After Benitez made attempts to sign him over the summer, it’s emerged that left-sided Chelsea man Kenedy could be set for a loan move to NUFC in January, with widespread reports claiming a deal had been agreed.
It seems the deal will go through providing Conte’s pick up no injuries between now and the new year, so we’ve been having a look at some intriguing online reactions from Chelsea fans following the news – and we’ve found some very interesting/promising ones.
Here’s what they had to say about the Brazilian’s rumoured move to NUFC and his performance in their Carabo Cup win over Bournemouth this week:
So Kenedy is really going on loan I like the move I can see him doing well at Newcastle. However surely we have to buy LWB now it would be silly just to leave Alonso on his own. Baba Rahman might comeback into the fold hopefully not though we can do better.

Not joking, Kenedy should start more often. has more potential than Alonso ever will

Kenedy is off to Newcastle on a 6 month loan. He was very good v Bournemouth last night, can see why Rafa wants him. Chelsea aren’t replacing him w/Alex Sandro. #CFC #NUFC

With games, Kenedy will be better than Alonso. Strong, fast but not durable

I like Kenedy a lot.
Very suited to the LWB role, him and Alonso should rotate more.

Kenedy was solid last night but now he's off to Newcastle

Here’s a few clips of him in action against Bournemouth in their 2-1 win on Wednesday night. An intelligent flick in the build up to their goal, but it seems Conte may not have been impressed with his showboating when they were protecting a second half lead:
Cahill passes to Batshuayi who plays in Kenedy whose disguised back-heel for Fàbregas deceives the Bournemouth defense and the Spaniard smartly crosses for Willian to tap in. Great team goal. 1-0. #CFC pic.twitter.com/9iSTy5Wira

Around the 70th minute, Kenedy tried an audacious rainbow to beat his man but he was quite clearly pushed to the ground. Looked an obvious foul but nothing was given. #CFC pic.twitter.com/vbGUP2r1fp

The brainded rainbow Kenedy almost pulled against Bournemouth might have pleased some fans, but Conte certainly wouldn't be
