- According to The Mail, Newcastle are working on a deal to sign Southampton midfielder Mario Lemina following his return from a loan spell at Fulham – Full story here.
- Arsenal are closing in on a £50m deal for Brighton centre-back Ben White – a move that looks set to boost our hopes of signing Joe Willock and William Sailba (loan) – Full story here.
- Newcastle have ‘missed out’ on a loan deal for Billy Gilmour, with the Northern Echo claiming that Norwich have beaten us to his signature on a season long loan – Full story here.
- Kristoffer Ajer – another Toon target – could also be on his way to Carrow Road, with Norwich reporter Paddy Davitt claiming that a deal for the Celtic star is ‘well down the track’.
