Ahead of Sunday’s massive game against Tottenham, the team look to be in great spirits in the training footage released by the club’s media team yesterday.
Despite the disappointing defeat to Aston Villa, it looks to have made little difference within the camp as it was all smiles in preparation for the final eight games of the season.
Paul Dummett made possibly the best appearance in the clip as he blazed his penalty over the bar during a shootout, resulting in a number of screams and laughs from the rest of the squad.
Miguel Almiron, who was expected to miss a number of weeks through injury, Callum Wilson and Alexander Isak all look to be fully fit for this weekend’s fixture, with Sean Longstaff also back after illness saw him benched at Aston Villa.
One key absence, however, was Allan Saint-Maximin, who continues to recover from a minor hamstring injury and may still be back in France preparing individually for his return. If he really did miss out on yesterday’s session, I doubt he’ll be fit for Sunday.
