Callum Wilson has sent a message to Toon target James Maddison, posting a photo of the pair on international duty with the caption ‘Newcastle this way’.
The midfielder has been a top target of Eddie Howe’s since last summer and the rumours have intensified following Leicester’s relegation, suggesting it’s now between us and Spurs for his signature.
Wilson appears to be doing all he can to recruit the Foxes star and his latest post on social media has got Toon fans talking once again. They’re both from Coventry and you’d think he’s doing all he can – alongside Kieran Trippier and Nick Pope – to sell a summer move to Tyneside.

Maddison has recorded over 70 goals and assists in his last three seasons (in all competitions) and, based on the photo above, it looks like our number nine is just as keen to recruit the 26-year-old as Howe!
Hopefully we can agree a fee with Leicester in the coming weeks and beat Spurs to his signature.
