JD Sports have released a brilliant video of David Ginola teaming up with Sandro Tonali to teach the Italian some Geordie phrases as he begins his career on Tyneside.
Moving from Milan to Newcastle will certainly be a huge cultural shift for the midfielder, but he appears to be doing everything he can to familiarise himself with the surroundings, with a recent reports revealing that he’s doing English lessons every day.
Former Toon star Ginola has been helping our new signing learn some common Geordie phrases such as ‘Why aye man’ and ‘Howay the lads’, which Tonali seems to be picking up quite quickly!

Hopefully the 23-year-old can go on to have an even more successful career in black and white than the French winger. Who knows, maybe one day he’ll be the one teaching the lingo to a new a rising star!
