Sunderland meltdown as player celebrates 4-0 win with Alan Shearer celebration – Watch here!

It’s been a tough old week for Sunderland fans. Seeing Newcastle batter PSG 4-1 on Wednesday night would’ve been hard enough, but they’ve just been hammered by local rivals Middlesbrough on Saturday lunchtime.

Boro left with a 4-0 win after running riot in the second half, where they scored all of their goals against a 10-man Sunderland who completely collapsed.

Just minutes after Middlesbrough took the lead, Matt Crooks rubbed salt in the wounds after making it 2-0, reeling away doing the Alan Shearer celebration in front of home fans at the Stadium of Light.

Watch the brilliant moment below:

The Mackems laughed when we went down and told us to enjoy Burton away, but how the tables have now turned.

Personally, I’d like to see them get promoted. Some would gladly see them rot in the EFL, but I for one would love to see us hand them a overdue spanking at St James’ Park!

  1. Let the Muckems rot in the lower leagues forever, let them stay on top of their sisters giving them blisters

  2. As a newcastle fan, this is childish. Some people are just obessed with Sunderland. I actually prefer them to do well and make it to the PL so there is more exposure and healthy competition in the region. Just because PIF owns NUFC and our fortunes have changed in the last 2 years, fans shouldnt act like bitches
