Newcastle eyeing Man Utd talent set for free transfer after contract talks stall – Report

According to HITC, Newcastle are considering a move for Manchester United youngster Omari Forson who is now expected to be a free agent this summer.

Forson has spent the last five years at Man United and made his first-team debut this season, but it looks like he will not be signing a new deal at Old Trafford to extend his stay.

Primarily a right-winger, the 19-year-old can also play as an attacking midfielder or off the left and would offer the sort of versatility Eddie Howe often looks for in a player.

The report suggests that Forson is determined to leave but has not yet decided where he would like to go with Newcastle, Brentford, Crystal Palace and Leicester all showing interest.

It could be a very smart piece of business for Newcastle, who know a couple of free additions could focus the majority of their budget elsewhere as we look to build for the future but also spend big on a few first-team additions.

  1. Well, in my FM24 save/career, Forson is a club legend for me in the PL.
If FM24 is anything to go by, sign him up! 😆
