Newcastle United have released a 13-minute clip of our week-long training camp in Germany, featuring all three of our goals from Saturday’s behind-closed-doors win over SpVgg Unterhaching.
The full clip (watch below), features footage of the lads in training, working in the gym, enjoying team-building activities and even Eddie Howe racing Joe Willock on the rowing machine before the final minute captures goals from Harvey Barnes, Jacob Murphy and Alexander Isak from 11:32 onwards:
Barnes’ finish is a brilliant one to opening the scoring and the second is nicely worked, with Murphy sliding into the bottom corner after some good approach play from him, Isak, Longstaff and Barnes.
Isak’s finish is a calm one after he’s put in behind by Lewis Hall, with the Swede showing his pace before sliding past the goalkeeper.
First half XI: Nick Pope, Jamal Lewis, Emil Krafth, Dan Burn (c), Lewis Hall, Jacob Murphy, Joelinton, Sean Longstaff, Joe White, Harvey Barnes, Alexander Isak
Second half XI: Odysseas Vlachodimos, Jamie Miley, Cathal Heffernan, Ellis Stanton, Leo Shahar, Johnny Emmerson, Jay Turner-Cooke, Alfie Harrison, Trevan Sanusi, Garang Kuol, Ben Parkinson (c)

I was so pleased when we signed Barnes – I think the lad is a real talent. It was gutting that he got such a lengthy injury so early in with us.
I know most eyes will be on Tonali returning & what he can do – but keep an eye out for Barnes too!!.
