Alan Shearer predicts full Premier League table from 1-20 ahead of 2024/25 season

Alan Shearer has tipped Newcastle United to return to European football as he released his full predictions for the Premier League table for this upcoming season which kicks off on Friday night.

Shearer feels Newcastle’s lack of European games, which hampered us badly last season, could prove to be a big factor in the race for the top four which the legendary striker thinks will be a really tight one this year.

Newcastle still have work to do in the transfer window and a handful of players who are recovering from injuries, but the former Toon striker is very hopeful for what we could achieve in 2024/25, backing us to finish fourth.

Here’s his predicted table from 1-20, followed by his comments on the title, top four, European places and relegation battle:

“It’s not rocket science to know that the three promoted teams will find it really difficult. Leicester might even have a punishment to face at some stage and if they do then it’ll be very difficult for them to survive in the Premier League.
“Everton and Bournemouth may find themselves in a tricky situation, along with Nottingham Forest. Wolves have had to sell the likes of Max Kilman and Pedro Neto too but as usual I think the newly-promoted sides Southampton, Ipswich and Leicester will find it difficult to stay up.”
