Isak starts, Rashford returns – Confirmed Newcastle and Man Utd teams

The team sheets are in at Old Trafford, where Newcastle United take on Manchester United in tonight’s 8pm kick-off.

Here are the two starting line-ups Eddie Howe and Ruben Amorim have gone with:

Newcastle: (4-3-3): Dubravka – Trippier, Schar, Burn, Hall – Bruno (c), Tonali, Joelinton – Murphy, Isak, Gordon.

SUBS: Vlachodimos, Barnes, Willock, Osula, Kelly, Livramento, Almiron, Miley, Longstaff.

Man Utd (3-4-3): Onana – De Ligt, Maguire,Martinez (c) – Mazraoui, Casemiro, Eriksen, Dalot – Amad Zirkzee, Hojlund.

SUBS: Bayindir, Kukonki, Malacia, Yoro, Collyer, Mainoo, Antony, Garnacho, Rashford.

Despite inaccurate social media murmurings claiming Alexander Isak may be out, Howe has gone with the same side that beat Aston Villa 3-0 on Boxing Day.

That means Kieran Trippier keeps his place at right-back, although the squad is boosted from Tino Livramento’s return to the bench after he missed out last week through illness.

For Man Utd, Marcus Rashford is back x after missing their last four games, but Bruno Fernandes and Manuel Ugarte miss out via suspension.

In midfield, Amorim has dropped Kobbie Mainoo and brought Casemiro into his midfield, while Garnacho remains on the bench.

A huge game for the Toon and a massive chance to secure our first win at Old Trafford since 2013. Do so and it’ll be five wins on the spin, back up to fifth and 10 clear of Man Utd.

Howay the lads!
