Five Newcastle games selected for TV – Full schedule, international break & blank weekend

Newcastle United actually have a quiet March in terms of the number of games we’ll play, but it promises to be a massive weeks weeks in the league and cup.

We start with a trip to West Ham on Monday, where we’ll be looking to keep our top five hopes alive with a win, then travel to Wembley later that week to face Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final a week tomorrow.

After that comes an international break and a blank weekend while others compete in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup, but a busy April follows, featuring six games; three of which have been selected for TV coverage.

Full schedule over March and April

With broadcasters such as Sky Sports and TNT Sports confirming their televised games across March and April, Newcastle schedule over the next two months is now locked in.

Here’s what the next seven weeks look like for Eddie Howe’s Mags, featuring eight games, five on TV, an international break and a blank weekend following our FA Cup exit last Sunday:

Monday 10th March – West Ham v Newcastle (8pm) – Premier League – Sky Sports 

Sunday 16th March – Newcastle v Liverpool (4.30pm) – Carabao Cup Final – Sky Sports and ITV

*Monday 17th March to Thursday 27th March – International break (Squad will train at NAS Complex in  Dubai)

*Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th March – FA Cup Quarter-Final weekend

Wednesday 2nd April – Newcastle v Brentford – Premier League – (7.45pm)

Monday 7th  April – Leicester v Newcastle (8pm) – Premier League – Sky Sports

Sunday 13th April – Newcastle v Man Utd (4.30pm) – Premier League – Sky Sports

Wednesday 16th April – Newcastle v Palace (7.30pm) – Premier League

Saturday 19th April – Aston Villa v Newcastle (5.30pm) – Premier League – Sky Sports

Saturday 26 April – Newcastle v Ipswich (3pm) – Premier League

Anthony Gordon will be suspended for our next three games, meaning he’ll sit out clashes with West Ham, Liverpool and Brentford – while Joelinton is one yellow card (currently on nine) away from a two-game ban in the Premier League.

Four May fixtures subject to change

Sky and TNT Sports are yet to announce their selections for May, meaning our final four games of the Premier League season are subject to change:

Saturday 3rd May – Brighton v Newcastle TBC

Saturday 10th May – Newcastle v Chelsea TBC

Sunday 18th May – Arsenal v Newcastle TBC

Sunday 25th May – Newcastle v Everton (4pm)
