Four Newcastle stars spotted on flight to Seefeld with Eddie Howe & squad – Photos

Pre-season is officially underway, with the first group of Newcastle United players and staff reporting back to our Benton training base a week ago today.

However, after blood tests, fitness drills and annual measurements to check the squad have been staying in shape over their summer breaks, the first of several pre-season trips took place this morning.

Players and staff jetted out of Newcastle this morning on a flight to Austria, with the club set for a training camp in Seefeld over the coming days.

The Tyrol-based training centre offers first-class facilities and has played host to a number of top clubs over the past 25 years, also offering altitude training within the Alps as we step up preparations for the 2025/26 season.

One man who has been pictured on the flight and back with the squad is Bruno Guimaraes, with the Brazilian sat alongside Joelinton on the plane as he returns from an extended break.

Official photos also show that Anthony Gordon is back along with Dan Burn, who both were given extended breaks after representing England in June, while new signing Anthony Elanga is also pictured:
