He may not have been the name many people were expecting, but Aaron Ramsdale is set to be the next player to sign for Newcastle United this summer.
The Southampton goalkeeper joins Anthony Elanga as a Premier League-proven option to bolster Howeβs squad for next season, although this has to be the first of many signings over the next four weeks.

After a loan-to-buy agreement was struck last night, videos have now emerged of the 27-year-old arriving on Tyneside to undergo his medical
Sky Sportsβ Keith Downie has shared footage of Ramsdale coming off the plane at Newcastle airport, while local reporter Jordan Cronin has released a clip of him arriving at the Benton training base:

Southampton signed Ramsdale for an initial Β£18m last August, with that deal including a potential Β£7m extra in potential add-ons.
