The summer transfer window has closed and I won’t miss it one bit.
Late incomings have been much-needed and we have ended the window stronger than we started it, even if we’ve lost our £125m sulking striker in the process.
Deadline day saw Yoane Wissa complete a £55m move from Brentford as he landed the famous number nine shirt, but Will Osula saw a proposed switch to Frankfurt collapse, despite suggestions a £30m switch was close earlier in the day.
A few late loans were also secured and there is a chance more outgoings emerge, with paperwork submitted and other windows still open until next week.
But, as of 11pm on Monday night, these are the ins and outs we’ve seen at Newcastle United over the 2025 summer transfer window:

A big thanks to everyone who has read our articles, enjoyed our exclusives and supported our hard work over the past three months.
Here is to a big season on the pitch after a chaotic few months off it!

Well, apart from the obvious one, I don’t think we’ll miss 14 of the 15 outs at all. I have always liked Dubravka, but I assume Ramsdale cancels out that loss (27 y-o replaces 36 y-o).
Otherwise, it’s all pure gain, with a much stronger squad now than at the end of last season.
There is that one exception, though…………………
(not that PSR gave us any chance of matching what Liverpool can pay him (who wouldn’t like to double their wages? Be honest!)

A great window for us after the restrains of PSR. It’ll be interesting to see how this spending and also selling sets us up for PSR in the coming windows.
