Newcastle set for crazy 19 days – Two more games now on TV as massive month awaits

The international break is here and it’s given us a rare lull after three months of transfer mayhem and a trio of games to start the new 2025/26 Premier League season.

Games picked for television broadcast in the Premier League had already been selected for September and October, but there has been one change for Newcastle to accommodate our Champions League opener at home to Barcelona, along with a date set for our Carabao Cup clash with Bradford.

Our trip to Bournemouth has been moved from Saturday (3pm) 20th September to Sunday (2pm) 21st September, with that game now live on Sky Sports.

Bradford’s trip to St James’ Park will take place on Wednesday 24th September (7.45pm), with that game available to watch live on Sky Sports+.

This makes for a hectic and huge few weeks when the players return from international duty next week, with Newcastle playing SIX games in league, cup and Europe in 19 days between Wolves (13th September) and Union SG (1st October).

  1. Even with all the schedule changes and broadcasts, sometimes it’s the little details—like clear visuals—that make following games easier and more enjoyable.
