Following tonight’s 4-1 win over Bradford in the Carabao Cup, the draw for the last 16 has just taken place live on Sky Sports.
Fresh from two goals each from Joelinton and Will Osula at St James’ Park, Newcastle United will welcome Tottenham Hotspur to Tyneside in the fourth round.
The game is due to take place the week commencing 27th October, falling in between our home clash with Fulham on Saturday 25th October and trip to West Ham on Sunday 2nd November.
See the last 16 draw in full below, featuring three other all-Premier League ties:
- Arsenal vs Brighton
- Grimsby vs Brentford
- Swansea vs Man City
- Newcastle vs Spurs
- Wrexham vs Cardiff
- Liverpool vs Crystal Palace
- Wolves vs Chelsea
- Wycombe vs Fulham
A tricky game given Spurs’ strong start to the season under new boss Thomas Frank, but we’ve had a very good record at home to the North London side in recent seasons and will be glad to be at St James’ Park once again.
Bring it on.
