Watch goals and highlights from Newcastle 4-1 Bradford – It could’ve been 6 or 7!

It was a positive night for Newcastle United on several fronts last night.

An important win to get us through to the last 16, a game full of goals that will give us confidence after recent blanks, and plenty of strong performances.

Joelinton and Will Osula both bagged two each, but we also saw impressive displays from Lewis Miley, Bruno Guimaraes ran the show, Lewis Hall started his first home game since February and Nick Woltemade looked superb in his late cameo.

Four goals and a big win, setting up a fourth round tie with Spurs and sending us into Sunday’s clash with Arsenal on a high.

Watch all the goals below and some extended highlights, showing both braces, some brilliant Bruno passing, glimpses of Woltemade’s brilliant cameo and plenty of missed chances in a game we could’ve won by five or six!

A special mention for Andy Cook; the boyhood Newcastle fan who scored Bradford’s goal emphatically at the Leazes End.  A superb strike that didn’t impact the result, but gave him a moment he will never forget!

Newcastle XI: Ramsdale – Krafth, Thiaw, Botman, Hall – Miley, Bruno, Joelinton – Elanga, Osula, Gordon.

Subs: Pope, Trippier, Lascelles, Tonali, Barnes, Livramento, Woltemade, Willock, A.Murphy.

  1. Great team performance, Bruno , Botman, Gordon, milley Jolinton, all outstanding, Osula better out wide than as centre forward, hall did well a nice cameo off woltermeade who is a link up player rather than centre forward and a mention for Ramsdale who although not the best with his feet is far better than Pope.
Spuds next round, won’t be easy but home advantage a massive plus.
Have to mention Bradford fans who were excellent and happy for their Newcastle fan goal scorer..
