The team sheets are in at the London Stadium, where Newcastle United take on an out-of-sorts West Ham.
Eddie Howe’s Mags have won five of our last six in all competitions, but need to string together a run of victories in the Premier League as we head into today’s game down in 13th.
West Ham have picked up just four points from their opening nine game and sit second bottom, losing five of their last six and struggling to pick up any form since Nuno Espirito Santo’s arrival.
Here are the two line-ups ahead of the 2pm kick-off in the Capital…
Confirmed line-ups
Newcastle: Pope – Krafth, Thiaw, Botman, Burn – Bruno, Tonali, Joelinton – Murphy, Woltemade, Gordon
Subs: Ramsdale, Hall, Schar, Barnes, Osula, Elanga, Willock, Ramsey, Miley
West Ham XI: Areola, Wan-Bissaka, Todibo, Kilman, Diouf, Potts, Bowen, Fernandes, Paquetá, Summerville, Wilson
Subs: Hermansen, Walker-Peters, Igor, Mayers, Rodríguez, Magassa, Souček, Irving, Guilherme
Eddie Howe has made SIX changes from our Carabao Cup win over Spurs on Wednesday night.
Returning to the side are key men like Bruno Guimaraes, Sven Botman and Anthony Gordon, with Nick Pope, Jacob Murphy and Joelinton also back into the starting 11.
Kieran Trippier misses out through illness, NOT an injury-related issue, meaning Emil Krafth starts again at right-back.
One boost on the bench is the return of Lewis Hall, who is back in the squad after recovering from a hamstring injury that has kept him out since our Champions League win at Union SG.
For the Hammers, Jarrod Bowen is the danger man to watch in attack, while former Mag Callum Wilson starts up top for Nuno’s side.
A big chance to build on a recent run of home wins and put an end to our winless run on the road. Howay the lads!
