Newcastle United’s 2026/27 kits are set to blend tradition, modern design, and a bold new aesthetic, marking another significant step in the club’s ongoing partnership with Adidas.
From subtle nods to the club’s history to advanced fabric technology and new detailing, NUFCBLOG can exclusively reveal what supporters can expect from the Magpies’ new on-pitch and off-pitch look for next season.
These designs were seen at early stages and finer details may be subject to change. However, the overall style and colours are expected to be integrated next campaign.
Home Kit
The iconic black-and-white stripes remain at the heart of the design, but next season’s shirt is expected to carry a fresh twist with prominent blue detailing on the shoulders and arms.
The blue will feature more heavily than this year’s edition, with adidas’ trademark shoulder stripes appearing in blue, giving the kit a striking new edge. The top has three big black stripes, two white stripes, then thin black stripes in between.
The collar and cuffs are split half black and half blue, taking inspiration from the current Belgium national team home shirt, adding a smart, modern touch to the traditional design.
A subtle gradient pattern, reminiscent of Barcelona’s 2017/18 home kit, is repeated three times across the shirt.

Away Kit
Next season’s away strip takes a darker, more industrial tone, reflecting the strength and character of the city itself. The shirt will be primarily dark navy with crisp white detailing and a brickwork-inspired pattern woven into the design.
Sources suggest the pattern pays tribute to “the stronghold that gave the city its name,” a nod to Newcastle’s castle keep and the city’s architectural heritage. Expect a kit that feels both modern and unmistakably Geordie.
Third Kit
For those less enamoured with this season’s green design, there’s good news, it’s been given the axe!
In its place is expected to come a fresh light purple (“powder plum”) colourway, offering a clean and stylish alternative look for cup competitions and away fixtures. Note: the image below is the likely colour, NOT the kit itself.
New Originals Collection
Beyond the matchday kits, adidas and Newcastle will also launch a new “Originals” collection, celebrating the club’s heritage through retro-inspired apparel.
NUFCBLOG has seen early digital images of a standout track jacket from the line: a three-tone design split into dark navy, white, and light blue sections. The upper portion is navy, a bold white stripe cuts through the midsection, and the lower third fades to light blue.
The jacket features the classic adidas Trefoil and the retro Newcastle United crest used between 1976 and 1983, bringing a nostalgic flair that will likely be a hit with fans.
Training Top
Rounding out the collection, the new training top (personal favourite). It’s predominantly black, accented by grey and light purple detailing, with the adidas logo and club crest also finished in purple.
Early comparisons suggest it carries a similar aesthetic to Inter Miami’s 2023/24 away kit.
