Newcastle United are one of a host of clubs interested in Middlesbrough winger Albert Adomah, reckons HITC.
There’s quite an extensive list of clubs looking at the Ghanaian international. Aston Villa seem to be the most advanced in showing their interest but the Magpies face competition from Wolves, Crystal Palace, Southampton and Burnley for the winger.
New contract talks between Adomah and Middlesbrough broke down, leaving him with twelve months on his current deal before becoming a free agent.
The Teesiders don’t want to allow the winger to leave next year on a free and are looking to recoup some money on the player they signed from Bristol City three years ago. He has been a regular in the side, making close to 150 appearances for ‘Boro.
With irons in other fires, Rafa Benitez may have higher priorities for the wide role in the Newcastle United starting line-up, leaving the way clear for Aston Villa to sign Adomah.
