Some impressive footage has emerged of Jonjo Shelvey’s first half masterclass in Newcastle’s pre-season encounter against Bradford last month, showing a compilation of his outstanding display in our convincing 4-0 win.
His ability has never been in question and the midfield maestro looks to be on top of his game if this is anything to go by!
A fit & firing Jonjo Shelvey could be a dangerous weapon next season..

Granted he is unlikely to get this sort of time on the ball in next Sunday’s big kick off against Spurs, but Shelvey looks to be in superb shape ahead of the new season.
His passing range is there for all to see, but what’s perhaps even more promising is that extra spring in his step he’s appeared to have over pre-season.
He has admitted that he is in the best shape of his career and it’s evident in the above clips as he shows a burst of pace to evade several Bradford defenders – something we have rarely ever seen from the often deep lying midfielder.
As the video alludes to, a fit and firing Jonjo Shelvey is a dangerous weapon and I for on am excited to see what he can produce in the Premier League this season.
