According to HITC, Fleetwood Town manager Joey Barton is now trying to be reunited with former NUFC teammate Ryan Taylor – with the 34-year old currently available on a free.
Taylor signed for Indian Super League champions ATK at the back end of last year, however he’s now been released and could secure a move back to England, with Barton said to be interested.

Amusingly, this could see Taylor face up against Sunderland – a fixture he knows all too well after scoring the famous free-kick at the Stadium of Light during our 1-0 win on Wearside back in August 2011.
Fleetwood actually travel to Sunderland next Saturday, so it will be interesting to see if Taylor plays any part IF Barton can secure a deal for the former Wigan man over the coming week.
