  10. MM – If you pay beer money, you don’t get champagne I’m afraid. How many more times do the club need to keep making a balls up of the transfer market…

  12. Well, on my stream the camera held on Tim Krul for a whole minute at the end of the first half. Did Timmy blow it for the Everton goal ?

  14. Stuart79@47, spot on there. There again Riviere was a 6 million quid investment and is showing absolutely nothing. We got Obertan and Gouffron for a goldfish and 2 bananas apparently. You can see it too…

  15. Is JC under orders to play Rivi cause of what we paid for him? it beggers belief he’d start him over the confident Perez .

  16. Well we have defenders that can’t defend, a goalkeeper that can’t keep, strikers that can’t strike, a referee that can’t referee and a midfield that seems to have gone for a coffee… *** it’s not looking good is it?

  17. Just watched the first half highlights and that was a clear penalty for the toon from the corner ? Shot from Willo and the Everton midfielder handled it on the line ? ffs the commentators didn’t even mention it, it was a clear hand ball !

Poor play from Krul for the Everton goal, though we should ask where the hell was our central midfield ? The Everton midfielder has 5 metres all around him without a toon player close by.

Its the same old mistakes over and over.

  19. TLR – the future is more of the same so long as we can survive every season. No more than that.

  20. First half assesment – defence not up to scratch, midfield – working overtime, forwards totally clueless

  21. Don’t get many goal scorers for £6m, Munich. They knew what was needed but they refused to pay the going rate. We have what we deserve.

Carr’s role has to be called into question too as there’s plenty of pretty average players we have bought. Having said that, he can only go shopping in Aldi.
