Report reveals 30-year-old could be the next player to leave Newcastle United

Tiote

According to reports from the Shields Gazzette, Cheick Tiote could be the next man to be leaving Newcastle United.

Newcastle United have done very well so far to keep hold of most of their key players but it looks all but certain that the likes of Moussa Sissoko, Georginio Wijnaldum, Tim Krul and Siem De Jong will be following Andros Townsend out of the exit door from St. James’ Park within the next few weeks.

Midfielder Cheick Tiote has also been seen as a player who will be looking to leave Newcastle this summer and according to reports from the Daily Mail, it had been claimed that Marseille and Al Jazira were courting the services of the Ivory Coast international.

There were suggestions that manager Rafael Benitez would be looking to keep hold of Tiote after the midfielder featured prominently during the Magpies’ unbeaten run towards the tail end of last season but according to reports from the Shields Gazette, it has been claimed that the 30-year-old could be the next player set to leave Tyneside.
