NUFC star now ‘ready to leave’ this summer with Everton, West Ham & Arsenal all keen – Report

According to a concerning ‘exclusive’ from TEAMtalk, Matty Longstaff is now ‘ready to leave’ Newcastle United this summer.

As we all know, the 20-year-old is out of contract this summer, however talks over a new deal appear to have stalled.

Now, inevitable reports have arrived revealing the long list of clubs ready to take him off our hands for next to nothing should the situation remain unresolved.

TEAMtalk claim Everton, West Ham and Arsenal are all showing interest, also stating that European clubs Borussia Dortmund, Ajax, Inter Milan, Atlanta and Club Brugge have all ‘made contact’ over a potential summer switch.

This hardly comes from the most trusted source – with TEAMtalk being hit and miss to put it mildly – but there’s no getting away from the fact Matty’s future now seems very much up in the air.

A frustrating situation that’s dragged on far too long. Let’s hope common sense prevails on both sides and a new deal is signed to keep him at his boyhood club for many years to come.

  1. Don’t blame Matty for wanting to leave, our club is a total laughing stock, due to cashley and Charley, paying players peanuts, hardly spending anything, bare bone squad, training facilities a joke, rip nufc.

  2. John reckons the player’s get paid peanuts, wish I could be paid that much. I don’t think a goal against MUFC puts him in superstar status, I think it’s gone to his head.
