TWO medicals now booked in at Newcastle United as another player agrees to sign – Sky Sports

Callum Wilson won’t be the only player completing a medical on Tyneside tomorrow, according to Sky Sports News.

In the last few moments, Keith Downie has confirmed (via his Sky colleague Mark McAdam) that Ryan Fraser has now agreed a deal to join Newcastle United and will undergo a medical alongside former Bournemouth teammate Callum Wilson on Monday.

As stated below, Downie also reveals that Fraser was keen to know if Newcastle were going to land Wilson before making a final decision – however it seems like Wilson’s arrival on Tyneside via Mike Ashley’s private helicopter on Sunday night has well and truly made his mind up!

The 26-year-old winger will sign on a free transfer, while Cherries star Callum Wilson looks set to arrive for £20m after we had a bid accepted on Sunday for the striker.

It’s believed Fraser received interest from West Ham and Crystal Palace but preferred a move to St James’ Park – something that also allows the Scottish international to be closer to his family in Aberdeen.

A brilliant double deal and confirmation that it looks set to be an exciting start to the week for us Newcastle United fans – providing both do pass medicals, that is!

The pair combined brilliantly in their last full season together in 2018/19, with Fraser bagging a superb 8 goals and 15 assists and Wilson weighing in with 15 goals and 10 assists.

It may have been a frustrating season so far, but THIS promises to be a brilliant double signing for Steve Bruce, adding some real pace and proven Premier League quality to our attack!
