Sky Sports: Newcastle face competition for TWO loan deals & Toon outcast in talks to leave

According to Sky Sports, we face competition to sign Man Utd’s Brandon Williams and Leicester midfielder Hamza Choudhury on loan – while Rolando Aarons is back in talks with Huddersfield.

Starting with Williams, it’s now reported that Southampton are one of FOUR top flight clubs interested in signing the highly rated left-back on loan.

This comes after the Shields Gazette claimed we had ‘agreed a deal in principle’ with Man Utd for the England U-21 star, with Sky Sports also naming Bayer Leverkusen as admirers.

Then to Choudhury, a player who was offered our way over the weekend if The Chronicle are to be believed.

Sky Sports’ Rob Dorsett claims West Brom are now taking a keen interest in the holding midfielder, suggesting Sam Allardyce is hoping to beat us to a potential loan deal for the 23-year-old.

As you can see above, it seems Leicester haven’t actually decided whether they’ll let him go or not – something that doesn’t quite tally up with Lee Ryder’s claims that he was offered our way last week.

Lat but not least, Keith Downie has confirmed that Rolando Aarons is closing in on a permanent move away from Newcastle United.

He states that the forgotten winger is back in talks with Huddersfield – the club he very nearly joined over the summer, only for The Terriers to run out of time on deadline day!
