Newcastle United have released a brilliant video responding to the European Super League plans, proving the club are keen to kick the ‘big six’ breakaway out of football!
As you can see below, the clip shows Matt Ritchie smashing a ‘Super League’ corner flag into the stands – a trademark celebration with a convenient twist.

This comes after Newcastle United were one of 14 Premier League clubs to hold an urgent meeting with Premier League chief executive Richard Masters today, with the ‘big six’ not invited for obvious reasons.
Hopefully we see the club release more of a formal statement on the preposterous ESL proposals in the coming days after Everton made their feelings clear in a hard hitting message earlier today.
Let’s hope this sneaky power-grab from ‘big six’ billionaires is booted out of the game and the punishments that follow are serious.
