Following our 2-1 win at Southampton on Thursday night, we take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.
The teams are in ahead of today’s 2pm kick off, seeing us line up as follows:
STARTING 11: Dubravka – Manquillo, Schar, Lascelles, Burn, Targett – Murphy, Guimaraes, S Longstaff, Almiron – Wood.
SUBS: Darlow, Dummett, Saint-Maximin, Ritchie, Krafth, Fraser, Gillespie, Gayle, De Bolle.
So, Eddie Howe has moved to a back five and made FOUR changes, with Jamaal Lascelles, Javier Manquillo, Sean Longstaff and Miguel Almiron replacing Jonjo Shelvey, Emil Krafth, Joe Willock and Ryan Fraser.
Joelinton is not fit enough to make the squad as he continues to manage a groin injury, however Allan Saint-Maximin is back in the squad after recovering from injury.
Ryan Fraser is on the bench, along with Krafth, but it looks like Willock and Shelvey have been given a complete rest, with neither named in the matchday squad.
Elsewhere, Kieran Trippier (foot), Callum Wilson (calf), and Federico Fernandez (side strain) are out through injury,
Here’s the side Thomas Tuchel has gone with, seeing Antonio Rudiger return and Thiago Silva rested:
This formation has very little chance of winning anything. Perhaps a draw would be God sent already

Of the 2 games left in March Everton away is the one we should be targeting to get points. If we get anything from this game even better but a very professional response to how to manage players who have given their all in recent weeks.
