West Ham star Jarrod Bowen is the latest player who has now been linked with a surprise summer move to St James’ Park.
According to an ‘exclusive’ from 90min, Newcastle are now showing ‘strong interest’ in the 25-year-old winger who has been in outstanding form for the Hammers this season.
The 25-year-old winger has bagged 14 goals and 11 assists in all competitions, being the club’s top scorer in the Premier League and a big part of their push towards another top six finish.
90min insist that he is ‘very happy’ at the London Stadium, but reveal that we could be prepared to ‘pay big’ for the goalscoring winger who is also attracting interest from Liverpool.
The report states that Howe was a ‘huge fan’ of Bowen during his time at Bournemouth and a player who has received ‘glowing reports’ from our recruitment team.
We certainly need to add goals to our front line next season, needing a reliable front man and wingers capable of getting into double figures, however it may take serious money to convince West Ham to sell – especially when the Hammers seem likely to be playing in Europe again next season.

look west ham have very good players and a very good manager if other premier league clubs are sniffing around your players it means one thing you have very good players and I think anybody looking to buy is a sign you have come a long way under Moyes
