An intriguing sighting has emerged on Tyneside over the past few hours, leaving many to wonder if we’re eyeing up a move for RB Salzburg Star Benjamin Sesko.
After the player’s agency – Pro Transfer – posted on Instagram that they were on their way to the UK, their latest post on social media shows them out for dinner in Newcastle last night.
The only player on their books who is valued over £900,000 is Benjamin Sesko – and he ticks a whole host of boxes with regards to the sort of striker we appear to be targeting this summer.
He’s 19, bagged 10 goals and seven assists last season, stands 6ft 4′ and is one of the most highly-rated young strikers in Europe.
Like Ekitike and Isak, he is a tall yet mobile young forward who has big potential, making many believe his agent is on Tyneside as we speak to discuss a potential move to St James’ Park.

Time will tell if there’s anything in this, but I struggle to see this being one big coincidence when the one high-profile player this agency represents is the sort of striker we’ve been in the market for all summer.
