Official training photos offer injury clues ahead of Sunday’s trip to West Ham – Bad news?

Newcastle United have released photos of the squad training ahead of Sunday’s trip to West Ham – but there’s no Callum Wilson, Bruno Guimaraes or Allan Saint-maximin in any of the 47 images from Wednesday’s session.

We’re still a few days away and we will hear more from Eddie Howe during his press conference tomorrow, however it’s starting to look like all three could miss out once again.

The trio have all missed our last two games in the league, while Wilson and Bruno also missed our 1-1 draw against Wolves – where Saint-Maximin scored August’s goal of the month to rescue a point before hobbling off the pitch himself.

After our 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace, Eddie Howe admitted he did not expect to have all three back at the same time, but was hopeful that Bruno and ASM – who were slightly ahead of Wilson in their recovery – could return this weekend.

It would certainly be a shame to have them miss the visit to the London Stadium, especially with West Ham having a poor start to the season and a Europa League game to play on Thursday night.

The likes of Nick Pope, Joelinton, Alexander Isak, Fabian Schar, Sven Botman, Elliot Anderson and Jamal Lewis all featured on the photos – which you can see below – as we push to secure our second victory of the season against the Hammers this Sunday.
