Bruno Guimaraes releases brilliant video as Newcastle star receives Brazil call – Watch here

Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes has been called-up to the Brazil squad ahead of the upcoming international break later this month.

Brazil will play Ghana (September 23) and Tunisia (September 27), with both friendlies set to be be played in France to reduce travel times for Europe-based players.

The former Lyon star has missed our last three matches due to a hamstring injury, however his call-up to the national side suggests he will be back in action soon – and could even feature in next weekend’s clash with Bournemouth, should it be allowed to go ahead.

In light of the news, Bruno has released the following call-up video on Twitter, which also features this heartfelt message from the 24-year-old:

Back there I dreamed of living everything I’m living today. I never looked for a shortcut to the realization of my dreams. I never ran away from work. I never stopped dedicating myself. Being able to represent my country has always been present in my dreams. I’m grateful for one more call.
