According to reports, Newcastle are showing interest in Dynamo Kyiv star Viktor Tsygankov alongside Premier League duo West Ham and Wolves.
This comes from Jeunes Footeux, who report that all three clubs are ‘keeping an eye’ on the winger, aware of the fact he could leave on a cut-price fee in January or free transfer next summer.
The 24-year-old has impressed over the last six seasons, scoring 87 and assisting 60 in 217 appearances for last season’s Ukrainian Premier League runners up.
Tsygankov could be a useful asset due to his ability to play down both flanks as well as an attacking midfielder, with his age, versatility and European pedigree suggesting there could be a bargain to be had here.
The Israel-born man has also made 39 appearances for the Ukrainian national team and would bring a wealth of experience having already played in both a major international tournament and the Champions League.
With his contract expiring next summer, the Ukrainian ‘isn’t lacking suitors’ and a handful of Premier League and European clubs are hoping to secure his talents either for a reduced fee or for free in just under a years time.
