Garang Kuol bags brilliant assist on first game back after the World Cup – Watch here

In his first start for Central Coast Mariners since returning from the World Cup, Toon bound talent Garang Kuol put in a perfectly delivered cross for his teammate to head home.

The A-League side were trailing 1-0 at the time, but Kuol’s pin-point cross ensured that Marco Tulio got the equaliser in a game they went on to win 2-1, pushing them up to fourth in the league.

Kuol has been in great form for the Mariners, scoring twice and assisting three times in just six league appearances while also picking up the goal of the month award for November for his effort against Macarthur FC.

The 18-year-old is seemingly hitting his best form right before he joins Tyneside in January, although it is very likely that he will be sent back out on loan somewhere first.

Hopefully it is a sign of things to come and the Australian international will prove to be a very shrewd signing in the not too distant future for the Magpies.
