The team sheets are in ahead of today’s trip to Leicester City, where Eddie Howe has been forced into a late change.
Here’s the side set to start at the King Power Stadium, where Callum Wilson is missing from the matchday squad due to illness:
(4-3-3): Pope – Trippier, Schar, Botman, Burn – Longstaff, Guimaraes, Willock – Almiron, Wood, Joelinton.
SUBS: Darlow, Lascelles, Targett, Manquillo, Ritchie, Fraser, Anderson, Murphy, Saint-Maximin.
Wilson misses out entirely, meaning Chris Wood leads the line up top, however Jonjo Shelvey is also absent after suffering a calf injury that will keep the midfielder out for ‘six to eight weeks.’
Joelinton continues down the left, keeping Allan Saint-Maximin on the bench, with Bruno, Willock and Longstaff making up our midfield three.
For the hosts, Toon target James Maddison isn’t in Leicester’s matchday squad due to an injury, while former Mag Ayoze Perez is on the bench.
Leicester XI: Ward; Castagne, Amartey, Faes, Thomas; Tielemans, Soumaré; Praet, Dewsbury-Hall, Barnes; Daka.
