According to new reports, Newcastle United are showing interest in Brazilian wingers Malcom and Luiz Henrique.
Starting with Malcom, French outlet Foot Mercato claim that Newcastle have contacted Zenit St Petersburg and ‘made enquiries’ about the 25-year-old’s availability after learning he’d been offered to PSG.
The former Barcelona forward has enjoyed an outstanding season in Russia, bagging an impressive 15 goals and seven assists in 23 appearances so far.
As for Henrique, ABC de Sevilla – a local paper covering events at Real Betis and Sevilla – report that Newcastle and Aston Villa have joined the race to sign the highly-rated 22-year-old.
The piece states that both clubs have approached the former Fluminense star over a potential move to the Premier League before next Tuesday’s deadline.
He only signed last summer in a deal worth £6m, so it remains to be seen if the La Liga side would sell for a quick profit after weighing in with eight goal involvements in 20 starts in his debut season in Spain.
Is there anyone out there we haven’t been linked with? Hwtl
